About Activation
Activation is several anonymous, secure, and hassle free steps that authenticates licensed users during the installation process in order to begin using the application. The process verifies that the serial number is legitimate, and has not been activated on more systems than allowed by the Easypano End-User License Agreement (EULA). It does not affect the ability of licensed users to use their software the way they have always done.

Activation Mechanism
I'd like to show you a general idea about Easypano's Activation Mechanism and help you better understand it.
- User enter Serial Number
- Activation ID is generated according to your NIC(Network Interface Card) MAC
- Activation ID and Serial Number are uploaded to Easypano Activation Server
- Activation Server checks the SN&Activation ID, then accordingly gives feedback.
Online Activation
If the computer you are running Easypano software is connected with Internet, please proceed with the online activation. Activation over the Internet is an one-time operation. Simply enter your product serial number and activate for full use in seconds, secure and anonymous.
Note: Online Activation requires network interface card or modem installed.
Offline Activation
In case you need to run Easypano products in a computer with no Internet connection, you can find some other computer with Internet available to activate the product via Email or Easypano website submission. Since Internet is quite pervasive nowadays, we assume all the customers can access the Internet by certain means, either in a net cafe, or another computer.
Basically offline activation still requires internet connectivity, however not necessarily in the computer running the software.
A general procedures for offline activation:
1. Enter your SN to automatically create an ARF (Activation Request File)
2. Save the ARF to your local hard disk
3. Find a computer with Internet available. Submit the ARF at http://www.easypano.com/activation.html
4. Receive ALF (Activation License File) from Easypano.
5. Import ALF in Activation Panel to automatically activate the product.
ARF: Activation Request File. For offline activation , a file named epactivationrequest.par will be created after entering the SN. That is the ARF. ARF includes the following information:
-Activation ID
-Serial Number
-Product Name
-Product Version
-Operating System: OS name, version, and language
ALF: Activation License File. After submitting ARF, you will receive a file named epactivationlicense.pal. This is the ALF. ALF includes Activation Verify Code for you to fully activate the product.
Note: Offline Activation requires network card installed.
Please make sure the computer in which you install Panoweaver 4.00 and create Activate Request File, meet the followinig requirements.
1. Network card is installed.
2. TCP/IP protocal is installed.
3. Network card is not disabled.
