Are you stitching RAW files?

I would suggest not to do so. RAW files should be processed/developed and saved as 16 bit .tif files for stitching for best results.

Providing more information will help me, help you.

Hi i am stiching jpg files but have done the following

the photo of the cieling and floor i have rotated them so they are in landscape like the other 6 photos. and all works well.

this is strange as with my d3000 i did not have to do this.

thx again

i use fine and largest jpg files given by camera , is the raw converted to tiff better in quality ?

Within the camera menu you can turn on or off auto rotation.

BTW: You should be shooting in "Portrait" orientation.

A processed RAW image converted "correctly" to a non lossy format of .tif 16 bit will always produce a sharper image over any .jpg
