What is mean NPP, could you explain this

First you must understand this:

The NPP (No Parallax Point) or No Parallax Position is the EP (Entrance Pupil) of the lens. When correctly aligned objects remain in the same position (both near object and far objects) when the camera/lens is rotated on its X/Y axis.

It has also been incorrectly called the "Nodal Point" but really it has nothing to do with the Nodal Points of a lens.

Then you must find it:

I don't understand this point could you please explain to me with pictures if you can.

There are two parts to the Sigma 8mm lens cap

A lens ring and a lens cap the cap clips to the ring. The ring simply pulls off the lens with cap in place.

Both need to be removed for the lens to capture it's full FOV (Field of View).

Rawan,

Your NPP is not correct.

For me to show via nadir footprint I need images shot at 0 degrees with the Sigma 8mm. Tilt 7.5 degrees is good once I know the nadir footprint view. We are looking for a circle.

You can see we are looking at the outer edge of the rotator. Shown above is a 6 shot and a 4 shot nadir view. This is how we find the lower rail setting. The upper rail follows after we know the lower rail is correct.

Please show me pictures on how you have mounted the R1.

Also what rail number you have selected for the 7.5 degree tilt.

Yes, I have seen those images. That is how I know your NPP is not correct.

I need you to take some pictures "of" your camera and sigma 8mm fisheye set up on the NNR1 so I can see if you have installed it correctly and I need you to tell me what the rail setting is set at (what number?)
