VT Federation Sq, Melbourne

As I've got this on my server, thought I should share it. Not perfect, but it wasn't a paid job! Shows some interesting modern architecture - Federation Square, Melbourne that seemed to take forever to build at around AU$400. Taken with Nikon d100, peleng 8mm - 4 shots stitched panotools, published as Quicktime with Panoweaver - Size 900k.

Hi Simon,

Nice panorama, don't go much on that modern stuff though! I like old traditional buildings. But like everything it has it's place - otherwise it would be a boring old world!

Got a laugh out of the SBS Television logo.

Can I ask how you are doing your "4 Shots" are they all horizontal or do you use an up shot as one of the shots?

Regards, Smooth

Hi Smooth,
Just used 4 horizontal shots ie 90 degrees apart. Think I took an up and down shot but find I rarely use them. Find the hole in the sky is so small (in cubic format) that it's easy to patch especially if it's just blue sky.
I'm too lazy to shoot more than 4.

See I left out the important million in the cost.

Thanks Simon,

I will try doing a 4 shot version myself and see if I can cut done some of my work.
