Easypano vs IPIX

Now, I don't mean to start any flames... especially since I've *never* agreed with the IPIX policy/sales method among other things, but...

I live/work in the US.  Since IPIX holds a patent on similar technology in this country, if I were to use Easypano commercially, can I as an end-user expect to hear from their legal department?  (To IPIX: this really wouldn't win me over as a customer by the way...)

Thanks,

-Jeremy

P.S.:  One more thing...

I've noticed some of the upgrades for version 3.0, most notably:

  • 3 fisheye images stitching

Does this absolve any conflict with IPIX' patents in the US and Germany?

Thanks,

-Jeremy

Hmm while we reside in the US.. please remember that EasyPano is located in an  IP_X free zone.

In the event that you have missed out on the EVENT (Ip_x lost the important legal suit and lost their patent).. Ipix had to PAY for their NON EXCLUSIVE license to use Oxaal Ford's patent.

Now what was your specific question.. again????
