Hi All,

Seaman: I have used Director to create the Shockwave 3d object. They are a couple of products in the market which output Shockwave 3d objects but then they need to be manipulated too. I don't think it will be possible without the use of Director or any such authorig tool which lets you write code to manipulate the 3d object. What I can think of is an implmentation like the one at http://www.bespoke.org/cubicvr/ (also suggested by Per B) where we can have a empty 3d cube generated in Director with all the [navigation, zooming] coding applied to it. At run time, the 6 cubes can be passed to it. Maybe it can be a single file with all the 6 cubes on it or 6 separate files. Let me know if I can help further.

John: Those lines should not be visible.

CS

Hi,

In continuation to my previous post, I did a quick search and did find a Free Shockwave 3D SDK:

http://www.macromedia.com/software/shockwaveplayer/licensing/w3d_sdk/

It will output a .w3d file. I am still doubtful as to how this will be useful as the 3D world has to be navigated thru also.
