The applet is quite capable of displaying a 2:1image like 1800 x 900 pixels.  It really depends on your image dimensions.

Do you have a demo page we can take a look at??? maybe we can offer a fix for your situation.  Other wise we are just guessing at a solution.

Nice to hear that those b*****ds at ip_x are getting slapped around a bit n'all. Did not like the handling of Prof Dersch to whom we all owe a lot. Don't at all like the ip_x pricing policy which restricts the ability/accesablity for many to make fisheye pics. Therefore Thx v. much to easypano for the novel 3pic idea to circumnavigate this issue.

Hi!

Anything new, if using the software in Germany with 2 helmi`s and output ptviewer is legal or not?

Why didn`t we get a statement from easypano?

I will buy the complete Virtual Tour Suite (600 $) seconds after a positive easypano statement. It must only be clear if a commercial use of the software is safe!
I don`t wan`t to buy software and a month later I got post from an ip_x lawyer!!!

Ryback

Sorry for my poor english

Mate,

I doubt easypano will say yes or no about the legal issue's!

This would leave them open to prosecution. The fact remains it's an each way 50/50 bet!

It's a risk you need to make your own mind up about. Even the lawyers are having trouble trying to figure this one out.

I don't worry too much about tomorrow, as tomorrow may never come.....

Yeh, but what if? But they might! How come easypano does not reply? Think about it people.

Regards, Smooth

Hi ,

I'll add my two cents worth here. In a little defense also of
Panoweaver I thought I remember reading in the user rules of the forum that the topic of Intellectual properties and litigation between certain companies were Taboo topics and not to be disscussed in open forum. So Seaman no matter how good or bad the news was or is....he doesn't comment on the subject.
He is following his own rules. Just a little tid bit I thought might be of interest.

Dave,

in the shopping mall thread u mentioned that u saved ur panos as 12mb bmp file as 1500 x 3000 cd r quality.

Now I took my three shot panos and cropped them then saved each as bmp then imported into panoweaver to stich.
problems: each bmp is 9mb total 27mb... do I need to import the cropped jpg pics (cp990 fine 2048 x 1536) into panoweaver and then save as bmp?? If so how do I do that in panoweaver? Also when saving out to cd r qual I seem to have default setting of 800 x 4800 only. What am I missing here? Also how do I then resize the bmp down? (use photoshop)
Probably dumb questions... but heh guru Dave, u have some of the best answers.

Hmmm you asked the same question in a private message. I don't seem to be able to look at what I wrote to you.  NO OUTBOX.  When you receive and read the message - would you please do a cut and paste my reply to you, here in the forum for others to see.  I don't think I could repeat what I wrote.

Thanks

Dave
