camera settings

Hello!

I am a newbie! I am having problems getting consistant photographs, I am using the coolpix 4500 with the FC E8 fish eye lense, I have my camera set to Fisheye 1 - I am not comfortable enough to use the manual settings in the camera. It seems that with my pictures I take one hemisphere into say nature light and then the other hemisphere, the end result when I bring it into panoweaver is that the picture taken into the light source is darker than the other hemisphere taken not directly into the light! Any thoughts on what my settings should be to achieve consistent lighting pictures?

There are many posts on this subject in recent threads. Also have a look at Dave 360's ahopping mall thread...

Or, as a direct answer, the main thing is to be sure you set exposure lock, so that each hemi gets the same exposure.
