looking for a part

I purchased an mrotatorB with bracket for the CP8700 some time back and have missplaced the screw/bolt that fastens the camera to the bracket. Any help with the official name for this piece?...any help with replacing it?

Thanks, zjoker

Here is Agno's page for the MrotatorB and the Bracket for the CP8700

Are you talking about the 1/4" diameter threaded Lock Screw that connects the camera to the bracket ? or the Mrotator B itself ?  A red arrowed picture of the location would help.

thanks for the reply dave. Yes, the 1/4" diameter threaded Lock Screw that connects the camera to the bracket is what I need. I have emailed agnos but havent heard back from them yet.

I can make due with an over-the-counter lock screw, but would like to replace that part.

thx, zjoker

I understand why Agno's has not replied yet.  Its 7 hours difference between Texas and Italy. So that means its 11:30pm at night in Italy.  If they send it by UPS it might cost $30 shipping.

I have found that shops like Home Depot or Lowes sell nylon 1/4" dia x 3/8" long screws with a bolt head. Its a coarse thread.   Its sort like 'White' plastic but nylon is stronger.

OR

From Home Depot I bought a Wing Screw 1/4" dia x 3/8" long and a washer to take up the space.  In Home Depot look for Crown Bolt Inc - SKU 0 30699 66728 4. Its steel zinc plated.

I think you can buy one for about 60 cents.  Besure to take your camera and the bracket with you when you go...so you will make sure that the threads and screw length are correct.

thanks for the tips dave. I figured the time difference was the delay in the reply. To get the best bang for my "shipping" buck, I might be better off just buying another bracket from them too..as a backup..even though it would take alot to break one of these brackets.

I will look into the home depot solution until then.

thx again, zjoker
