Floor blending

Hi all,

Could anyone advise me on the best method(s) to blend out the tripod for a spherical image? I have seen some excellent examples on the forum where the floor has been patched perfectly. I have had some success using the clone and patch tools in Photoshop but I live and work in Lanzarote, Spain so many of the panoramas incorporate complex tiled floors. I want to avoid using a tripod cap where possible.

I am using a cp8400 with fisheye lens and pw4 to produce my spherical images.

Thanks,

Paul.

Regards,

Paul.

tiled floors are hard not only stictch perfectly but also to clone, patch.

the most common method that i can think of is to take a picture of the floor where the tripod was located.  is called a down shot.

this forum has a some tutorials and tips on how to achieve this.

if you search and type   down shot     you will find the answer by one of the

forum members here.
