Can you tell me if this is working?

Almost everyone I've shown this to has seen this tour work. But the one guy I'm trying to sell Virtual Tours to can't see it. He says it never loads: http://www.cpginteractive.com/jam/ (click on Garret Mountain)

Please tell me if it's working for you. Also check this one too because he says this one doesn't work either: http://www.beckgrouponline.com/vanderplaat

If you could tell me what I'm doing wrong, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Err, both your links are the same thing!

Works for me, Internet Explorer 7.0 with Microsoft JVM. But has the dodgy click to activate message.

Also works with Firepox 1.5.0.6 with Sun Java 1.5.0_08 and Opera 9.01 and Sun Java 1.5.0_08.

Yep, it works also.

It is possible that he doesn't have Java installed at all. Some versions of Windows shipped without Java. Send him to www.java.com and get him to download and install the latest version.

It is also possible he has his security settings set to high or he is using some crappy Norton security feature that is stuffing things up.

He claims that a competitor has sent him VR samples and they work fine. I think he's not being totally honest with me.

If you get that feeling, drop him and move on. Rarely is it worth the effort. Be sure to let him know it's his loss and that your happy to deal with his opposition. Remove all samples from your site that benefit him or give comparative samples to your opposition.

Are you sure that the opposition is using Java? Maybe they are using Flash or Quicktime.

No I'm not sure. I'm considering putting a QuickTime sample together for him, but I just might send him to the galleries here instead. It's not a lot of money and not worth the aggravation.

They work fine for me: Firefox 1.5.0.7.

Although the second link tells me:

"Note:

1. Please click the following hyperlink to view virtual tour.

paramus"

But I guess thats not the issue here.

either he dont got java machine or he's playing u.

if he's a dishonest person and gives you problems,

try to get compensated for ur work now, after all u did

the work and try to get what u can if any at all.

but in future projects

proceed with more caution or dont deal with him again.

No, I didn't do this work for him. I'm showing him samples of recent and past jobs, in an attempt to win a job from him. But if he's giving me a hard time and I haven't even accepted the job, I don't think I'll take it. It's a small job and not worth the hassle.

The Paramus link is just a placeholder for the actual webpage.
