Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear there is no problem at your end with my QT pano. I will checkout the QT site to see what they have to say.
I also got an email from Beverly she offered this advice.
"I notice a flicker too on my G3 Powerbook. Your image is also a bit grainy.
I am new to Panoweaver and will soon be posting some panos to my web site.
Here are some suggestions based on my personal experiences:
1. Cubic projections (site version) yielded much better results in QT than
spherical. Flicker was eliminated, image was clearer.
2. MGI java viewer yielded better results than QT in the spherical version.
The graininess in your pano could be due either to the quality of the image
itself or to high an output resolution. Experiment with the settings to see
what works best for you. Good luck!
And also this.
"Have you tried publishing the cubic pano directly in Panoweaver with two
fisheye images? The results are superior to panos done in spherical first
and then converted to cubic. Of course there are drawbacks to using two
instead of three images. Hopefully the developers will offer an upgrade down
the line to accomodate these concerns."
When I discover what the solution is I will post it here.
Thankyou both for taking the time to help me.
