When to take T&B

Having a problem stitching with my new equipment. I took 6 @ 60 degrees and then took the T&B after the final shot at 300 degrees. Should I have gone back to 0 degrees to take the T&B?
Nikon D300, D3s, Nikon 10.5 lens, RingT105N+Footplate+MrotatorTCPs, Giottos MT9261 Tripod, Manfrotto 410 Jr geared head.

If you know the "secret" then everyday is a good day!

From what I understand is... take images at each click stop all the way through the LAST click stop [not return to original first clickstop]... Rotate UP/ Down.

This work flow is good for the Nikkor 10.5 or the Sigma 8
