"And they call this work??"

Well Dave it isn't work because you aren't getting paid for anything except a low end barter, you even had to pay for your travel expenses. It is no loss to the hotel in any way, they are getting the deal here.

No photographer can make a living "working" doing these sorts of deals, but it does help if one wants a cheaper vacation once a year.

I hope someone out there is actually making a living income doing panorama image stuff.

Have a nice vacation there though.

Dylan, don't bet on it.

Here is what the client asked for and our panoramas can be seen here:

http://360texas.com/virtualtour/mexico/2004/index.htm

Were we compensated (round trip air, hotel, ground transport and fee) for these panoramas? Yes, we were their prime panorama US supplier for this website.

These were shot with Nikon 990/ FE 2  8 shot, and at clients request no zenith or nadir's.  We did use an alternative stitching software package. The copyrights were transfered to their company as a contract requirement.

Hi Dave,

very nice and crisp panoramas - and a very nice place also. Did you use PanoTools to stitch the Fisheye FE2 images?

However, I have a problem when viewing your panos. Whenever a pano has been started my machine "freezes" and I have to restart IE to be able to see the next one or to operate IE.

I run IE 6.0 SP1, Win2000

Regards

Holger

Hi Dave,  I am glad you are now saying you got paid for flight and everything else minus food and that you didn't pay for any flight costs, that is better, but before a couple months ago you said you were paying for the flight costs and it was a "joint venture". Also if you gave all copyrights away, then thats a large gift to them as well.

Dave said
"Arrangments for this special trip are a shared venture.  We pay for the to and from flight.  Flight costs are Funjet special 200$ each round trip  x 2 = $400.  "

Hope your company is going good, the panos are very nice.

Have a good day,

Dylan

I got to see one panorama and then closed it.

Straight after my browser crashed attempting to load the next pano. Seems something about your coding is causing problems!

Internet explorer 6.0 Windows XP

Are you using a Pop-up blocker??  or maybe our popups are causing a problem.

Which Java runtime engine are you using?? IE  or SUN ?

Do you have the same issue when looking at this page??

Hi, Dave,

I encountered the same problem like smooth (see my earlier post reply), also with this new URL. I dont think it's a problem with the popup blocker. My machine: IE 6.0, Win2000, MS Virtual Machine.

Regards

Holger

I tried again tonight and all was well :)

Either you fixed the coding problem or the reboot I had to do after your page crashed my computer may have resolved the issue?

Windows XP, Sun Java, I.E 6.0
