speed of tour too slow

Hi, I can't solve this problem: I published a tour about 1,5 Mb (3 panoramas of 280 kb each one and 1 panorama of 545 Kb) but when I view the tour by web (ADSL connection !!) it is very very slow, so as the change of scenes. When I view the same tour by stand-alone it is very fast. Why the difference is so marked ? Is someone who can tell me about the best resolution of a single image and of the total tour when I publish by web ?

Thanks

You may try to make your panoramic images smaller and the viewer smaller. In this way, it wll be much better.

Most peolple have found taht a viewer size of 300x400 is best suited for java driven tours as this seems to allow the largest possible picture with least amount of problems for grafic cards. Larger viewers have been seen... especially some newer versions with built in inertia. Panos should be between 1400x700 - 1600x800 in size. try and keep ur file size down to 120kb-180kb. You can go higher in the kb stakes... however this will again cause delays in loading for those with poor connection speeds.

If I only had an hour to chop down a tree... I'd spend 45 mins sharpening the axe.
