I'm glad the sound works now.  I hate to be a pain about the viewer motion but I have to voice my concerns.  The TW applet has always been a little jerky on my machine compared to other applets so when I show my work to prospective clients I always take it easy on the pan speed when showing how to interact with the images.  When TW2 came out I had to be extra careful since the momentum on full screen viewing was a bit too much.  I see EP fixed that but it seems when you get close to the middle of the viewer the thing either pans left or right.  Never stopped and the slowest I can pan makes the viewer jerk. This happens on both the smaller viewer and full screen. TW1.3 slowed down, came to almost a complete stop and then changed direction throught the middle of the viewer when my left mouse button was down.  Just slow down the "momentum" on the full screen and use the TW1.3 viewer characteristics.

Oh and one more thing.  What on earth is the "wait" image for?  It blows right through that step and on to the viewer where nothing has had a chance to load.  At least delay the start of the movie until the first pano loads.  I await TW 2.2.

disjo

I tryed what you suggested still no luck.  The sound html works fine on it's own but not with the tour on the sever. As for the server I have no idea, I use Yahoo webhosting.   Everything is great local. I'm using TW2.0 2.00.070301 Pro.

when I open your link, your sound file is blocked by my browers and when I allowed it, nothing can be found and I noticed that the first letter of the name of your sound is capital while lowercase in my popup window,so you can try to change the name of the sound into lowercase to see if the problem is still there.I am afaid you are using Linux server or else that can distinguish capital letter from lowercase.

Joe,
Please read the other topics on the forum about sound. Nobody seems to be able to get this to work on a Linux server...
Most agree that there is an issue in TW.
Please forward this to the programmers. I have submitted a trouble ticket of course.

Does this work for anybody? Listen for sound.

http://www.dvt360.com/vt/20702090/pano.html

With the latest release I was able to sucessfully attach a sound file to a movie, per scene and background.  I could not loop the "background" so I just attached the sound to a movie instead (it loops).  The tour sound worked within the TW preview, locally and on my unix server.  I've tried many combinations of per scene sound, with movie sound and all seems to work.  The above example only has a movie sound though.  I have IE 7, 6, firefox. Works in all.

Now I need some decent music.  Any suggestions? Just email me since the last question is best for a different thread.  tim@thedhgroup.com

Thanks
