Hi Jerry

A company called AntsSoft have made a small program called Wise Popup.

It is a small userfriendly program  that allows you to easily create pop up windows. You have the control to decide certains features like the size, if it should open i full screen, if it sould be centered on the page, or any where else. If it should include a menu bar and many other options.

Hope you find what you are looking fore.

Thanks Smooth, great tutorial. I was with you until the last parts about pasteing HTML. I host my own tours through Yahoo sitebuilder. What html page are you referring to that I need to add the code? And how do I find it, as you have already figured out I'm very new to all of this. If I purchase the program from you site does it help you (I hope so)?

G'day Jerry,

Purchasing from my site helps cover tutorial hosting expenses yes.

The HTML page you need to edit (paste too) is the page where you would have your click to launch button or text hyperlink.

Yahoo Site Builder does have limitations as it is for "newbies" and those who are very light on coding. If you get totally stuck I can help you with the process but would need URLs and possible private contact to get you up to speed.

Just like I have had to do for many others.

Regards, Smooth

I think I found it Smooth, is this the page? This is the one I click on in Sitebuilder to view the tour.

<html>
 <head>
 <META NAME="GENERATOR" Content="Tourweaver">
 <title>
 Virtual Tour Created By EasyPano
 </title>
 </head>
 <body leftMargin="0" topMargin="0" rightMargin="0" bottomMargin="0">
 <!--Begin: Virtual tour created with Easypano Tourweaver-->
 <script language="JavaScript" src="Project6.js"></script>
 <!--End: Virtual tour created with Easypano Tourweaver-->
 </body>
 </html>

Jerry,

If you just want to center the page in a browser (left to right) all you need do is add some simple HTML.

<html>
<head>
<META NAME="GENERATOR" Content="Tourweaver">
<title>
Virtual Tour Created By EasyPano
</title>
</head>
<body leftMargin="0" topMargin="0" rightMargin="0" bottomMargin="0">

<p align="center">
 <!--Begin: Virtual tour created with Easypano Tourweaver-->
 <script language="JavaScript" src="Project6.js"></script>
 <!--End: Virtual tour created with Easypano Tourweaver-->
</p>

</body>
</html>

Regards, Smooth

Jerry,
when you go to this thread, and look for my post at January-17-2007 at 8:27pm (the 2nd page) you will see a possible solution. For some reason (probably because I just updated my java) the tour doesn't work anymore, but the popup does. The source files are still there for download.

Hi Jerry

Do you host the tours your self?? Then you can also use a program like Wise Popup to make a small java script that allows you to center the tour (advice originally given by Smooth - thanks)

Best regards

Morten

Yes I do host my own tours but that java script thing you just talked about went over my head.
