Open tour direct from DVD or CD-r

Today we were trying to create a cd-r or dvd  that when you insert the disk into the drive.. it would autoplay  the index.html  start the browser with a specific sized window.  This is NOT a popup window.   The browser dimensions will be resized according to the size you put in the resizeTo(width, height)   and then onload  use those W and H pixel dimensions.  It works on a Vista and XP pc.  Not sure about Mac.  And you would still need AUTOPLAY.exe and AUTOPLAY.inf  to make your drive autoplay the cd or dvd.

Only issue I have found is that it still has the browser tool bar visible with scroll bars.  Need to figure out how to remove those.

The above file IS index.html

The autoplay.exe and autoplay.inf  specifically call index.html

Don't know if it helps Dave but could you put the html onto a page in an autoplay?  I use longtions autorun pro enterprise edition and I simply add an html object to this.  I then link this object to where I have the tourweaver_tour.html file.

It comes up with no browser bar because its not through a website....

Any use? I can email you some screenshots if that helps

Oh sorry - this wouldn't work on Mac however - I've yet to find an autoplay, aside from Director, which lets this happen.

I did a google search and found

Click Keiser below to go direct to:

Keiser Photography have instructions for using Toast to make a CD that will AutoStart on a Mac as well as using ShellRun to AutoRun on Windows computers.
