Solution for TW3 TW4 tours fail to load

Recently, there are some customers reporting that the virtual tours published by TW3 and TW4 fails to load. Our programmers have checked the display issue of old virtual tours created by old versions of TW3 and TW4 with the latest flash player 10.1. The virtual tours published by the updated version of TW3 and TW4 work fine with the latest flash player.

If your old virtual tours can't play with the latest flash player, you don't need to re-publish them in the latest Tourweaver 3.00 or Tourweaver 4.00, you just need to replace the old twviewer.swf by the new twviewer.swf of latest TW3 or TW4 in the published result. The latest TW3 builder is 3.00 090916, which can be downloaded at http://www.easypano.com/download_tw300.html , and the latest TW4 builder is 4.00 091105, can be downloaded at http://www.easypano.com/download-tw400.html .

twviewer.swf and twviewerp.swf for TW3 professional can be downloaded at http://www.easypano.com/twtest/genseng/twviewerfortw3pro.rar

twviewer.swf and twviewerp.swf for TW4 professional can be downloaded at http://www.easypano.com/twtest/genseng/twviewerforTW4pro.rar

If you use the TW3 and TW4 standard version, you can get the twviewer.swf and swf object.js of TW3 standard edition at http://www.easypano.com/twtest//carmen/tw3stan.rar  and TW4 standard at http://www.easypano.com/twtest//carmen/tw4stan.rar

Hi Guys!

So all of a sudden in the last week I started getting the same problem and then came to the forum to see if I am going crazy....

Anycase, did as per all the instructions, but mine is still not working. Working on the last version on TW3 as in the first post, replaced the said files after the export was done and no joy at all!

What can I do please?

Thanks
Chris

I would suggest you publish under a different name as you are likely to be seeing "cached" files either from your own computer, or your internet service provider.

The other way to test is view the tours with a browser that hasn't seen these tours before. Options: Opera, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome etc.

If you find it works OK then. It will be the "old" cached files causing the no go!

Post a link to the tours for others to test.

How do I download the twviewer.swf and twviewerp.swf  for TW3 pro and TW4 pro?  When I click on the links listed above it come to a blank screen with an X in the upper left corner.  All my clients tours that I produced in TW3 pro and TW4 pro are hanging up and this reflects badly on me.

Right click "Save File As" works fine for me using a PC with I.E 8.0

Of course they are RAR files and must be un-rar-ed

Thanks Smooth.  I never knew you could do that.  I unpacked the files and swapped out the files on my tours and they are running again.  I still need to send Emails to my clients to have them swap them out as well.  A pain but at least the tours are running again.

Hmm, I must say even my example stalls at 50% before jumping to the initial panorama display.

Not sure what happens for everybody else.

One for support I guess. Email: support@easypano.com

Provide links and files for testing.

Sorry I can't help more.

Smooth, your link loaded for me fairly fast. I am using IE8 XP pro on my laptop.
Actionlens, your link did not load past 50%.
Nikon D300, D3s, Nikon 10.5 lens, RingT105N+Footplate+MrotatorTCPs, Giottos MT9261 Tripod, Manfrotto 410 Jr geared head.

If you know the "secret" then everyday is a good day!
