Video Issues

We've added FLV videos to several scenes. The video play perfectly when published locally but when the files are moved to any server the videos never play. Any thoughts?

Path directory on the server incorrect?

Files too large? Slow download server.

Non Streaming?

Need more information and a URL to see.

Anymore information you can provide.

Regards, Smooth [8D]

It's an internal piece so I can't share unfortunately. The FLV videos are between 3 & 9 meg. The path should be correct as the entire published folder has been copied. Also if someone else copies that folder to their machine it then works. Not sure about the streaming part. We had swf videos in a previous version that played fine in a pop-up unfortunitly the audio would continue to play even after the video stopped. The swf files did however play off of a remote server. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for replying. I'll try dropping the sound quality and see if that helps.

No worries - my prob wasn't file size or swf size but the sound settings which smooth mentions.  I actually was able to run a tour smoothly, with large swf files with no sound.  This was better than my results with small swf files with sound.

Seems its very much the sound settings and not overall size of your swf.
