And Still another Tour with a Broken TexArea #4

Another Easypano Tourweaver Tour that the TextArea doesn't display the text associated with Spereical Images in the HTML5 version of an "Auto Flash/HTML5" tour

http://www.vabq.com/5209TierraAmadaStNW/TW_5209TierraAmadaStNW.html

In the Flash version shown the TextArea text displays perfectly, but not at all in the HTML5 version viewed with Google Chrome

(Helen, just so you won't forget, there are Still Photos in this tour (you do know TW supports stills, right?) and the text for them didplays just fine)

Here is the link to the Project Files in case you think "maybe" there's a problem with the tour

Hello

I have downloaded your project and publish it with Tourweaver 7.90.140903.

Here's the published file. The textarea in 360 panorama of HTML5 tour is displayed. http://gallery.easypano.com/test/helen/nd/0204/_auto.zip

And I also upload the tour on the server. The textarea in 360 panorama of HTML5 tour is displayed.

Here's the auto tour link: http://gallery.easypano.com/test/helen/nd/0204/_auto/TW_5209TierraAmadaStNW.html

Please check and let me know if TextArea works fine in the tour above. And you can also upload the published files on your server to see if the problem is due to your website. Since we upload the files on our site and it works fine.

And it's very important to make sure if the local published file of tour works fine or not. There's a possiblity that the TextArea is missing only after you upload it on your server.

Why on earth would I upload the text images for the Still Photos and not for the Spherical Image???????????

Is this the file on my server you are saying that for some reason I didn't upload to my server?

Please note, the right hand side of FileZila is what IS on the SERVER

Isn't this the same problem in your other Tourweaver Forum, that you have no problem with, but we users have a problem?

Odd how the software works perfectly for you, but not for us

This is the .png file, downloaded from my server

here it is with easier to see red text

So please tell me what I'm doing wrong, since, of course, there's nothing wrong with the software

The Text Area is very weak on this version of the software. The old version the text area showed perfectly (flash). Mine shows a slidebar even though it does not need one. The dimensions don't display the way I input and the text gets cut off. There is a lot of work that still needs to be done with this version of the software. Other issues reside within the color pickers as well... pick a color and it never picks it, you have to put the #number in multiple times before it will stick.

Easypano is heading in the right direction with all the features, they just need to get it to work properly :)

Helen

Here's the tour as created by my install of TW 7.90 140903 on a Win XP Pro machine

I downloaded it from my server and zipped it up

I'm sure you'll tell me the taimg.png files for  the 360s in the HTML5 version are there, that I did unpload them, because I checked and they are there.

But I'm also sure you'll offer no suggestion to solve my problem which is undoubtedly related to the problem with the TextArea boxes in the pop-ups reported in the other Tourweaver forum

No response on the text fields? Mine look aweful in the HTML5 version. On the android text is hidden even though it is set to word wrap and there are scroll bars. Very odd...

Also the thumbnail links do not work on Android 4.4.4. FYI if you are trying to use on all platforms.

It seems that your server is case sensitive. And the panorama's name in your project contains capital letters while the letters in web directory made by the software is lower case, which means it cannot be recognized on your server. To solve the problem, please change the capital letter into lower case in "scene" folder of the published files as below. Or just don't name the scene with capital letters.

Please note that TW795 will automatically convert upper case into lower case when you import the panorama.

Aren't all Unix Servers Case Sensitive?
