Newbie Multiple Tours

I'm using the trial version to create a demo before purchasing the full version.

I want to create multiple tours (different sites with their own maps) that are linked to together via a thumbnail piclist that is on the screen all the time but have noticed that TW won't do this. TW's thumbnail list just shows all the scenes in a single tour.

Is it possible to use a HTML Frameset where the main frame would show a tour whilst the other frame would be a separate html file with a list of images showing the different tours possible. Each image would have a url link to load a new tour into the main frameset.

has anyone tried this?

Regards

Darren

Hay Darren

Using frames works fine. Just don't make the tour to larger or the tour wont fit in the frame and you'll end up cutting the tour short or having scroll bars,. which I think can be annoying and tacky. I myself have been trying to make all my tours one size so if they open in the same window the all fit.
I've also used ifraims and they work also.

Her are two examples one with hotspot and text links in a tour to open a different tour in the same window and the second is a test page using ifraims.

Don't forget that u can add url's (one of the "tour buttons") to the skin. u could use a self made thumbnail as the "image" and add mouse over/down as well. This way u'll be able to link as many tours as u want. Check http://www.tannrokka.com and u'll see that the "home" button is just the thing ur looking for.

All u need to do then is add the same "thumbnails" to each new tour. Or even better consider making a skin in which ur other tour skins will fit... therefore keeping the thumbnails, elements.... in place and just exchangeing the background skin or viewer window and given tours.

If I only had an hour to chop down a tree... I'd spend 45 mins sharpening the axe.
