Popup Widow sound is ON

Hi
I have assigne a button to open a popup window & one button to close a popup window called "OPEN video" & "CLOSE video" respectively in MAIN WINDOW of tourweaver 5
When a popup windows opens it displays plays   xx.swf  movie with sound
But when I press CLOSE  video, the popup window closes, but the sound is not turned off, it keeps on playing at the background.
If  I again open the same window by clicking the OPEN button the movie plays and I can hear 2 audio track , the first track is out of phase & the second track is  in phase with the movie playing.
What could be the reason & what would be the soloution?  when the popup window closes the sound should turn OFF

Sample:
In the default sample file nanhui.tw.
Remove the baground sound
Then click on "preview tour"  icon to preview the tour icon
When the tour plays - click on left most icon ( that is thumbnail folder)
Then click on "movie center"
"When the you will see a blue ">" button to play the movie.
Let the movie starts
Stop the movie by clickind on "X" red cross.
The window is closed , but the movie sound track keeps on playing

This has been discussed many times.

You need to use .flv format instead of .swf.

If you are going to use .swf it must have it's own controls (wrapper) and the stop button MUST be activated before closing the pop-up window.

Hi,Thanks for the reply.
The TW does not accept .flv  format it shown only .swf file format when i go to properties > Flash File> and when we browse it shows only .swf extension files.
How do i implement  .flv fiels in popup window ?

You have two movie import options in the tool bar. Flash and Video.

  • Flash = .swf file
  • Video = .flv file.
