it's bug for html5?

Hi
Sorry for my English
I created a virtualtour for ipad with the latest version of Tourweaver but if I open the file in windows with firefox or IExplorer does not appear the word "safari only" that appeared using Tourweaver 6.50.110225. It 's a bag? Using only version 6.50.110225 if I insert a hotspot I can only see the hot spot is not the logo. To resolve this problem I create virtualtour with Tourweaver 5.0 and Tourweaver 6.50.110225 for export.
Thanks,
Paolo

HTML5 is for Safari ONLY.

Safari is what is used by iDevices.

This is because it is based on Css3 3D Transformations and other browsers do not support this. WebGL is what Firefox is using same as Safari but without Css3 3D Transformations.

So no, it is not a bug.

Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera etc require Flash. You can use the "auto" option with Tourweaver 6.5 and it will display whichever method is suitable.

Can you elaborate on using 'auto"?  I am trying everything and cannot get it to work on the iPad or iPhone - looks like it is going to load, but sticks on 0% and will not start - works fine on desktop.  When I publish to html5 only, it works, but NOT on auto.  I read a similar thread on the forum that went unanswered.  I tried a very basic tour to keep it simple, to no avail.

I can only guess you have failed to upload all the relevant files.

What is the URL to your tour for testing?

No you are right, it appears to be a problem with the _auto publish.

I will look further into this.

OK, Easypano are at it again.

The coding in the _auto version names the ipod and ipad folders with the html5 "scene" folder lowercase. But for it to work the first letter must be uppercase. So open this scene folder and change the names to Ipod and Ipad instead of ipod and ipad.

Easypano needs to correct this so that EVERYTHING is always in lowercase so that it always works on a unix/linux server.

Publishing to _html5 format gets it right. Publishing to _auto gets it wrong!

Thanks! I have it working now.  The only problem I have now is that the buttons I created for full screen, floor plans, etc., do not work.  I do not mind using the ones built-in, but when you open the tour on desktop, how does the user know to go to full screen without the button there? I am trying to keep the look of the tours consistent for the auto detect.

You are limited in what can be used with HTML5 Safari tours at this stage. Some things work, some don't. Please read the HTML5 section of the help file to find out more.

Understand that HTML5 is not yet a standard and the goal posts move around a lot!

I understand and thanks for the reply.  It's unusual how I can make some Flash things work in KRPano and get them on mobiles, like Flash hotspots, but cannot use same hotspot here.  Hopefully we will have a standard soon but enjoy and employ what we have now!
