Limit Tour to open from one domain

I'm going to be making 2 versions of serveral athletic venue tours.

The primary domain won't allow me to include ad banners which is fine, but I want to offer the tour to other websites with an ad banner paid by a "tour sponsor"

I'll be hosting the tours

Can a Tourweaver tour be restricted to launch only from a specific domain?

Hi Doug, can you not simply keep both tours in separate directories or am I not understanding the issue?

What I want is to make one of the tours so it only launches from a specific domain, not the domain its hosted on

Because one version of the tour will have an ad banner, some people may not want to use it, preferring the version without the banner.

I want the tour without the banner to only be able to be launched from GoLobos.com and not any other website.

The version with the ad banner could be used by anyone wanting to show the facility

Thax

Hey Doug,
this is possible by creating a file with the name .htaccess in the directory where the tour is.
Edit that .htaccess file, and put the following text in it:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !(www.)?golobos.com/index.htm
RewriteRule .* - [F]

If you do this, the tour will only start for visitors who came from a link at http://www.golobos.com/index.htm (with or without 'www' in the url)
Any other attempt to open that tour will fail.

Later,
Ronald
