Stop Automatic Pan?

A tour that I have created automatically does a 360 degree pan when you move from one scene into another. I cannot figure out how to stop this from happening. Any suggestions?

Movie paths are automatic and follow the path set. They can be activated or deactivated with a button in your skin. You can make many different movie paths. Clicking any scene button within a skin will interrupt the autoplay of a movie track. So people can progress using the skin buttons, dropdown lists and thumbnails and the like. Clicking a resume movie track button will always start the movie track again "where" it was interrupted.

If you would like help with this you will need to upload the project files including all the contents and .tw file.

The published file doesn't help.

You must NEVER remove the Tourweaver "slideshow" movie track. Make your movie track from a copy of it and assign a new default. When you add a scene it is always added to the "slideshow" movie track. You can then copy the starting frame and ending frame and add these to your own movie track or tracks at any time.

You MUST set the rotation speed to "0" (in scene properties) if you don't want the scene to rotate.

This should get you going in the right direction.

thanks for the quick response smooth.

the "Autoplay" box is checked in my settings.
i unchecked it to see what would happen and
it did the same thing, an automatic 360 degree
pan to the right each time I forward to the next
scene. any other ideas or suggestions?

thanks!

You will need to create your own movie track. When you create a movie track you can set any adjustments for panning. Once you create your movie track you will need to set it as the new default. Make sure this is the track in the publish section.

You will read more about creating movie track in the user manual (F1 Help).

Thanks again Smooth. The confusing thing for me is that I have created other Walkthrough Tours that didn't do this automatic panning. Also, in creating a Movie, does this take away the option for a viewer to move through the slideshow at his/her own pace?
