Publishing errors in TW 7 Pro

Good afternoon!
For publishing of the project we use Flash VR, Flash VR (exe), Flash VR (swf). All these files are with no problems opened and viewed on a PC on which TW is installed (system configuration: Win XP 32 SP3). If we copy publication to other computers with the same operation systems, neither VR (exe), nor Flash VR are working. Some dialog pops up, but no further actions occur.
It is quite unpleasant, because we didnt have such problems with TW 6.5 Pro, and maybe we will have to install old version of the program again.
There is no use in trying to re-install TW or clear directory, because we tried these measures and they gave no results.

And we havent yet received answer about errors of high-definition video. We asked about it in previous our letters and in forum topics. If needed, we can copy to this topic our correspondence concerning video.

Thank you in advance,

With kind regards,
Pavel

And what about another important question: if I click "Preferences" in 7 Pro, the program just halts and does't respond at all.
Win XP Pro sp3 x86

Hope this will be corrected soon.

Hi Funkens, my tours are designed for use on CD-Roms or digital downloads, rather than purely online use (although I do have some online). I'm not a great photographer so I try to get the best quality I can get anyway I can!
Hope that helps a bit.
Oh - I also found that the problem I had uploading scenes to panoeasy was my fault for not using an email as username.

Dear sevaegir:

Please make sure your publication is placed in a trusted location. You can try to follow the operation below:

1,right click the mouse

2,click"global settings"

3,advanced button

4,trusted location settings

5,add the disc where your publication saved

Please input any link to your project if you have tried these measures and they still give no results.

regards

Has somebody tried to publish its tour to html5 format? What's happened?

When I was publishing with tw6.5 ... html5 format was working nice. Now, with tw7, my buttons and html5 buttons are both displaying on tablets. More confusing yet, my buttons are working and all tour features (that EP since begin said they won't work because html5 does not run flash) are working almost perfectly!

Someone tried the same? Can anyone explain me what's happening?

I shall thank you.

Anyone with problems in html5 published directory files?
When I publish automatic flash/html5, a directory file html5 also appears out... anywhere I publish this I can't delete it. When I try to do it, files are not listed, but directory file is always there.

It happens only with html5 directory file.

Vemvirtual,

This happens to me when I have TW still open because once you publish to that directory I believe it locks it so it can re-publish to the directory.
I've had to exit TW then was able to delete the directory with no problems.
I don't think this is an issue with TW but with the Windows environment (such as you can't delete an active temp file) in the temp directory while windows has it active in memory

Hope this helps

Thank you leescott!

closing easypano software, deleting as system admin or logging off/restarting system... my problem persists.

I agree it may be a windows environment issue, but it does not happens with others directory files as exe or flash, even tw still opened.

Have you some suggestion about?
Thanks

Are you publishing to a folder other than the Easypano (default)?
  1. Try deleteing temp files on your system before running TW - (start , run, %temp%
  2. Try publishing to another folder / directory

Also try running TW as admin
  • Right cick on the TW shortcut
  • Then select "run as Administrator"

and where exactly should we right click? on publication exe. file or in program preferences?
and one more question: virtual tours made in TW 6.5 Pro coould not be published in TW 7 Pro, and if I click "Preferences" in 7 Pro, the program just halts and does't respond at all.

Hi

I think Jack is referring to changing the Flash Global Settings. Here is the link to the procedure.
