Your view points on the loading speed.

Dear All,

Easypano is doing what we always do, listening to what our users' suggestions. Here we would like to have your suggestions on the loading speed of the scene.

1. 11.3MB

http://www.easypano.com/twtest/joe/webp_flash/TourWeaver_sample1.html

2. 21MB

http://www.easypano.com/twtest/joe/_flash/TourWeaver_sample1.html

They are identical tours but with different image formats. Please pay attention to the transition speed. Your comments and suggestins are highly appreciated.

Which one do you prefer? Leave your comments here. Thank you.

Regards,

Joe

Hello,

The second tour is the same loading speed what is good as it has a bigger size.
The last point to see is loading time of the tour for the first scene : it took me more than 14 seconds and that where my clients complain ... is there any way to have a shorter loading time for the first scene ?
Thanks a lot,
Olivier

The speed of the first tour is far superior my end. The change of scenes is faster with little waiting. The second tour I had to wait for the extra scenes to load. But again it is more than double the download so we are not really comparing apples with apples here are we?

Thanks for all your feedbacks.

Our testing results:

The first tour has about half of size of the second one but it takes about 2-3 seconds for decoding before each scene starts to play. This may vary on different computers while it takes about 0 second for the decoding in the second tour.

We presume that the first tour is better for online viewing, but you might have better experience when viewing the second tour offline. What do you think?

The quanlities of the secene in two tours are the same.

Regards,

Joe

Correction for update Google Chrome

- Open chrome browser;
- type in omnibar: chrome://plugins;
- In page was open, click in "+ Details" in right/up from page;
- Look for plugin "Flash (2 files)" or "Flash (3 files)", and desactivate that one with "Local" have something like: "C:\Users\Juliano\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\21.0.1180.83\PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll";
- Done.

restart browser and try it again.
