Forum abandoned by EP support?

Looks like EP suport have abandoned this forum!

It's a real shame, I have been using and upgrading EP products since 2005, starting with TW 1.3

EP, please prove this is not to be the case.


TW 7.95 came out as the ultimate VT software however; the lack of bug fixes and questions going unanswered has forced many users to go back to older versions.


EP, where do we go from here?

In a response to the eamil from Masco I asked


Why was the Navigation Bar in the full screen view of tours made with Tourweaver 7.90 removed?

Now there is no obvious way to navigate the images in full screen, although there was in 7.8


As is routine of responses from Easypano, he avoided answering the question

I use TW 7.96 to publish a sample, there is navigation bar in full screen mode. So could you please be more specified? I think I may miss some points. Thank you!


I told him

I'm reluctant to upgrade to TW7.96 because I'm just learning to work around the problem with TW7.90 and don't want to deal with a whole new set of problem, like those on TW Forum on your website

So, I'll ask again;

It is probably unethical to discuss competitor software on this Tourweaver forum, but with the continued absence of EP's contribution and support, I doubt anyone will mind me asking a few questions ...


1. what is your experience with 3dvista as an alternitive to TW?

2. what is your experience with their support?

3. have you found any limitations?

4. which software would you "recommend to a competitor"? (only joking; I mean which is best?)

5. If watching Easypano, please feel free to chip in!

As much as I am totally disillusioned by the lack of EP support, it would be wrong for me pesonally to offer advice or views on competetive software that's out there on this forum.

I have decided to choose another product that suits my needs with good support.
