Mediapix,

Nodal point seems to be very good. Good job!

Second image is a little dark and could use an adjustment using curves.

Nice settings.

Regards, Smooth

I keep wondering about the "a bit dark" issue. Since I truely think its not pano but monitor, screen related.

If I look at the second pano on my lap top its good, also on my two old CRT screens, but when looking at my external TFT screen it truely is dark. So are most of mine.

I was wondering if any of you have found that your images look good on your TFT but others report it to be dark. I experimented with my TFT to get it the same way as my lap top - but could not make it. So it must be kind of hardware related.

When I buy a TFT monitor I have one fact thats called "contrastrate" (or something like this in english)

The contrast rate can be from 350:1 up to 1000:1

So I was wondering if maybe the same pano looks dark on 350:1 and good on 1000:1. Since I don't know anything technical about TFT I would be glad if anyone could tell me if this might be like this.

Regards Markus

I base my opinion on a Gamma calibrated screen of 2.2 and through CRT glass (like Coca Cola it is better in glass!) What is relevant is not LCD or CRT but Gamma 2.2 for PC. Of course contrast and a true reading of white to black scale in also needed.

Everyone should test their and adjust settings.
