Yes.. and your camera is where to start. Overly light images are over exposed. Dark images are under exposed. Trying to stitch these together is going to cause the panorama to appear as difference colors in a Virtual Tour. I suspect the secret is to create properly exposed images with little or no color variations. Properly exposed images mostly depends on the camera and lens you are using. Properly exposed images ... by all means.. depends on the person looking through the view finder.
For a start, suggest f/8, focus adjusted to infinity and use apurature priority.
