What are the right steps to install the updated copy v4.0 of Panoweaver over a activated copy?

Do I first have to deactivate / transfer the license to activate the updated copy after the install?

Hi Thomas,

You do not need to transfer or deactivate the license first. Please directly download the updated version at:
http://www.easypano.com/download/software/panoweaver400_win.exe
Then install it.

If you once sucessfully activated the original copy of Panoweaver 4.00. This updated version won't require you to activate it any more.

What happened to the ActiveX viewer output with this version (update)? It no longer has this option?

Now the options are Java Applet and Quicktime only.

We want to do more optimising on the ActiveX viewer and decide to remove it in Panoweaver 4.

Thank you Rosalba for the answer.

Is this OK?, because this wasn't mentioned in the latest newsletter about the updates to Panoweaver 4.0. I have been telling people that the output is in three options (Java-ActiveX and Quicktime) and now it's only two, so I look bad (telling lies/mis-truths etc) and have to re-edit posts on forums and send emails explaining the reason why the feature is now missing.
