Seems lots of people are asking this or similar questions!

Yes, most of us have tried Immervision and it is good to great.

It uses and .xml file for it's parameter settings and is quite easy to use.

It is a viewer or viewing method that allows some good and some "not so good effects". The best part of Immervision is the G2 Viewer and it is capable of fullscreen Java display and best of all it is free.

we started using it about 6 months ago. took a little time to get our heads around a few things but its very good. apparently they are bringing out a software suite in the next few weeks.
