well mark

Thanks for the reply but i have done same thing and i was completely disatisfy with the result of attaching top/bottom as those images were completely unmatched.

either bigger or unfit with the portion required in top/bottom.

can we have someone post a good example for newbie on shooting top/bottom?

What kind of hardware are you using.

I use Nikon D70 with Sigma 8mm and get away with 4 drum shots without top and bottom :-)

Maybe you want to give it a try as well.

Now that makes me curious Markus!

I've tried 4 shot stitching too, but there are still two pretty big holes you have to fill in post processing left (that I did with some success on easy floor/ceilings, but nothing complicated).

Any different with you?

the problem i am getting with top & bottom.

the 4 shot horizontal pano is no issues having two holes top/bottom.

i am justing looking for a technique to take top/bottom attachments.

MAK Patel,

Markus (Switzerland) and I were just chatting on MSN Instant Messenger,  The Sigma 8 nodal point is the gold ring on the lens.  Stitching works best is the images are taken in portrait instead of landscape.  Portrait you should not have a large hole in the top of your finished panorama.  Taking Landscape image creates that large hole you are now trying to fill.

Sent a reply email to you saying essentially same thing.

Dave
