I have 2 ideas about making aerial panos.
The first is : you have 2 cams (or 3, better) under the copter, with fihseye lenses. And you take the 2 or 3 shots simultaneously, a lot of shots...
I think you dont have any nodal point problem, because all the objects are very far, quite at the infinite. Then you only have to add a sky. If you have made a sky's library, you'll certainly find a sky that corresponds.
The second one : you make only one fisheye shot, but you shoot the ground direction : all the ground is inside the pic, you only have to add the sky. But in that case, I don't know how you can turn the pano : perhaps in cubic mode, you just ahve to "rotate" the cube. Should be tried.
