Hallo Mark Told, your Zurich airport on WWP is wonderful. Thinking what you used for taking such a marvelous shot - plane, balloon or helicopter. What about airport security? Do you share with us the way..? What "flying machine" should I buy to be able make similar shot over Prague airport?

You may see more of Markus (in Switzerland) Airpano's at his Zurich  URL.  This is some really great work.  Zoom in and click on the red Helicopters at

I saw that pano too but did not realize it was MarkTold. This is a very good pano. Good Job.

How?.......Helicopter. But I would like to know a few details about the rig used. I have researched Kites and Blimps and that is well documented.

But I haven't found anything on how you do this from a helicopter. I wish Mark would tell a little about the "behind the scenes" work...

I know Markus uses a Nikon d70 and a sigm 8, 4 raw images.  The rest is pure magic. But if he wants I'll let him explain it.

Here is a link to an aerial pano site I onced came across, bigeyeinthesky While visiting the site a google add came up with info on remote control helicopter with camera.  I have not really taken the time to read further because of the $5,000.00 usd price tag.  Any way here it is rcflyer

@Mark Told great looking pano's no matter if it were remote control or not.

Regards, Pixel

Ed Fink rents a real helicopter, somewhere on PanoTools list or on the Quicktime mailing list he explained how to take the pictures.
