Hi out there

Does anyone know of a logical way to change the x y and radius settings before stitching in Panoweaver. I realise they move the yellow circle which surrounds a fisheye image but when you move the slider relating to  fisheye image enclosing it alters the settings automatically. I can't get my head round the relationship between them. Can anyone help. I have spent a long time 'tweaking' the settings and have got it right but I feel it is more by chance and would like to figure a better way.

I suspect the end result should be that the circle enclosure should be just inside the fisheye rim edge.. to crop out the (light fall off zone) purple fringe.  If you are working with the same lens/ camera all the time you might write down the x, y, radius values and reuse them on the next set.

Hmm looks like I just went over 1,200 reply comments marker.

Hi Dave

That's what I thought but it seems to change. Logically you would think that the circle enclosure should be just inside the fisheye rim but it doesn't always seem to be the case. When I got two perfect with the same x y radius settings I thought - whoppee found it. Put those settings on the next two done with the same equipment and guess what - mismatching stitch lines more at the top and bottom than in the middle. Very disappointing.
