 Hello all, im simba.

I want to be able to do full 360 panaramic tours. I looked at pixelators tour in the gallery and was impressed. What software and equipment do i need to be able to achieve the same results as this.

Sorry for being the new guy, and how do you shoot the photos above and below - is it all with a fisheye lens, and how many pics do you need to take to incorperate the whole room.

Sorry again and hope to hear from you guys soon.

 Regards Simba.

Simba,
Thank you for the comments   However, I feel if you take some time and look around the forum there are many pano's that put mine to shame.

Quick run down of pano.

4 images with fisheye, shot in RAW format.
Processed RAW, saved as TIFF
Stitch with PW4; 4000x2000
Post process image in PSCS2, Top and Bottom acheived with patch tool and healing brush.
Save image for web using sizing down technique along the way to 2300x1150
Final image out .jpg at around 600k
Create virtual tour in TW 1.3 pro

Good luck to you Simba and hope this helps get you started,

Pixel

Save image for web using sizing down technique along the way to 2300x1150,  or 3000x1500.

Important item to note is that it must be 2:1 ratio.  Height is 50% of width.  Or Width is double the height all with a suitable download size of 800kb - 1.5mb for broadband.  Less than 800kb for dialup connection folks -  all while maintaining a high image quality.

hmm I wonder if there are any dial up folks remaining out there?

About one in three I believe in the usa and uk. Twice that in places like ireland. Not to mention all the people whose broadband connection delivers dial up speeds at peak time, an increasing number in england.
