Ok.. its all done in Flash.    I did see the short clips of spinning around the different rooms.   I think what they might have done is  created the panorama in the normal fashion.  Then took a movie clip while displaying the panorama on a standard monitor.  Simple and effective approach to showing the dormatory spaces.

The whole flash movie is streaming.  And in my opinion is a bit tacky, using insterted bits of old movie world splicing transitions.  They want to show the University of Utah's student housing.  Those transitions are quite distracting.

in my opinion,

it's a video camera mounted on a tripod with a panhead.

they just panned the room with the camera.

I dont know if this is helpful. But this is what I have done.

Make a panorama on the regular way.

Convert it in to a video (new function in TW2) and finally embedded in the video.

I have play with panorama video a couple of months ago (in realviz), and produced this video.

Hi,

we have done this with a standard 3D-App (3DS MAX). It is very comfortable, because you can adjust the zooms, pans and tilts interactively and render out any video-format you like.
