Hi,

I would like ask the forum which is the best tripod to use that is lightweight but sturdy. I am using a Canon 5d with a 8mm Sigma lens and Agnos RingT + Mrotator. I presently own a Manfrotto 475B; which is a great tripod but very heavy.

Sometimes I have to walk long distances to remote locations. I would be interested in any advice on which tripod to purchase for this purpose.

Thanks,

Paul.

I use a bogen 3021. Works very well with bogen 3265 head.

With the head on the tripod, I stow them in a tundra fully padded bag (triangular shape) with handles and shoulder strap.

thanks,
eagle
