I've been offered keys for Studio 2007, they want $150 for them. They say it is legal because they did not use the keys so i would not be transferring them. Is this the case?
This you need to put to Easypano via support@easypano.com if they don't transfer the keys you will NOT be able to update or access the keys or transfer the the license from computer to computer. For someone to offer a $999.00 USD for $150.00 sounds a little to good to be true. (Maybe it is?)
The upshot is: Unless you can get the license fully transfered into your own name I would avoid it like the plague.
In terms of integrated authoring software with floorplans and radars and such then there is only really easypano, 3dvista and jact http://www.panoclub.de/jatc/ of which easypano is the really the best hence the fact it can charge the most.
Otherwise you hand code things yourself for one of the many panoramic viewers. If you want to recreate all the bangs and whistles of tourweaver you will rapidly find why they can charge for it. But if you are happy with just basically displaying your panoramas then its not too hard. Most panoramas after all are displayed for free without using any authoring software. Just quicktime, java or flash viewers stuck on a webpage. And nothing wrong with that.
There are a few other companies advertising integrated tour creators but largely they are just offering templates and not really the same and generally to be avoided.
But to be honest there is a limit to how much advice for alternatives you can politely ask for seeing as this is the easypano commercial forum. You could try the panoguide forum or the panotoolsng forum and you might get some advice there. I'm afraid theres not really a magic bullet out there though.
