Hiya all,

I have a possible auto dealer client who requested VT's of interiors of car's...

I am using an older version of EasyPano and 4.0 upwards seems daunting!

Will i need to upgrade to create quality 360's ??

current eqpt :

nikon coolpix 8700 + Fisheye

as mentioned in other topics i plan on upgreading to DSLR but still deciding on which kit... any suggestions here too ??

Hey LivingNC,

You should be fine using the equipment and software you have. Shooting the interior of a car will be the same as an interior of a home, a tighter space will be the difference.

I would recommend the purchase of a large bed sheet in light gray or white and drape over the exterior. This will keep the focus on the interior of the vehicle. This is only an idea for I have never shot an interior of a car.

You may also find more of what you are looking for on this topic here

As far as upgrading your equipment, I can only tell you what I have been using and have been very happy with.
Canon 350D.....Soon to upgrade to 40D
Sigma 8mm fisheye
Agnos Head.....MrotatorTCPshort

Good luck to you,

I've done a panorama from the inside of a Hummer H2 with the same set-up as you. (8700 + fce9)

Check my site at http://www.wideeyes.dk/produkter.php# it is the 5th tour in the left orange colum.

The quality is not too impressive - but that is due to the lack of skills at that time and not equipment :)

Morten
