Does anyone know if there are any native Flash-based players out there, that don't reqire the use of Java, Quicktime, etc.

Thanks for the link VT360.

How come you want the flash viewer and not the java?

I don't necessarily want a Flash viewer over Java, as much as I just want to keep my options open. I'm quite happy with the player that comes with Panoweaver.

However, I will say that I'm one of those people paranoid about future Java support in browsers.

I didn't care for that one either, but it is a step in the right direction. I'll keep my eyes open, and post here if I see anything.

http://www.qtvr2flash.com
but the compression of the jpg is not OK, can be optimzed later.

http://www.flashvr.de
With the last beta 2 version it is possible to feed a normal jpg file like with the PTViewer. He doesn't splice up the pano like in qtvr2flash. The beta looked very promising, let's wait what he is cooking... !!

Qtvr2flash works only with quicktime files.

At flashvr should come the version 2, the website of the developer is at www.stehle-gmk.de
