Hi guys,

So I am an absolute beginner when it comes to easypano and photography in general.

I would really love to start making high quality tours for some of my clients though and I am in the market for a new camera.

Now, I saw the tour on the website (the one displaying the home) was done with a d200 and was pretty low quality.

I want a camera that is able to take images that I can then turn into tours of this quality

This is really what I want to be able to pull of. I want it to look like you are basically there, no grains, no "lag" when the user is maneuvering the image quickly.

also I really liked the quality of the tour that comes with the trial package of the software but it is harsh on the eyes when you spin it quickly. I want the tour to feel seamless even on max screen.

Could anyone recommend a camera and lens package that will allow me to create tours like the two I linked above? (price isn't an issue) What should I look for in a camera specifically for creating virtual tours in easypano?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

edit: I thought I should clarify that I will creating the tours for peoples Homes so I would like recommendations for cameras and lenses that would work best inside a house

Welcome to the forum Photo_Mouse. There are a couple dozen "regulars" on the forum and you will get a couple dozen different answers!
It's not as much the equipment as it is the processing. You should contact Smooth, a regular here, he's in your neck of the woods: http://smooth360.com
He offers private tutoring in every aspect of Virtual Tours. He has Canon and Nikon and knows them inside and out. Yes I have used him.
Good luck.

If you know the "secret" then everyday is a good day!
