Spent a week testing out the trial version of Panoweaver doing some simple cylindrical panos and it worked fine. So I went ahead and purchased the Standard version.

Now, no matter what size my images are (I'm using the exact same images from my last shoot - 10 images, about 2 megs each) when I try to stitch them together the program runs up to about 50% done every time and then gives me the Out of Memory error message.

I'm running the software on a MacPro 2x2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 10G of ram and a GeForce GTX 285 video card with 1024MB VRAM. No other programs are open.

I can't seem to find any info on this on the website and the other Out of Memory posts seem to be Windows related.

Any thoughts, anyone?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

maybe the disk which Panoweaver installed is not enough for stitch.

panoweaver will use the disk space for store the tempdata,

try to clean up the disk or install the Panoweaver to other disk.

I hope it will help you.

I appreciate the idea, but I have 191GB free on the disk where the program is installed. Please tell me that's enough.

It is indeed very strange. 191GB is true enough!

Maybe the log message would be very helpful. It under the user's root directory, named pw_runtime.log.

I realized something today. The free trial software is version 7. So I downloaded that version again...and it works just fine. Then I downloaded the only version you can buy - version 6. I get the same "Out of Memory" message even when using the sample images that come with the program.

I tried using my serial number for the version 7 free trial. Naturally that doesn't work.

Here's the log for the whole mess. Thanks for any insight you can offer:

Got in touch with tech support at easypano. They actually turned around a fix for me within two hours...and it seems to be working fine now.

Pretty impressive, I must say.

We have updated Panoweaver 6.00 for Mac today, and fixed the Out of memory problem. The builder version does not change this time. Download the latest at http://www.easypano.com/download-pw600.html

Question : Why doesn't the "builder version" change ?
How can a user know if he has already (or not), the right version ??

I guess you should add a version and a date in the file name.
This would help everyone in mainting its soft up to date !

Regards,
Dominique
