Hello,

The link has been removed due to the technical problem. Please wait for the formal version of Panoweaver 7.2. Thank you for your support to Easypano products.

Testing with my iPhone 3Gs the panorama loaded fine. Of course it is lacking controls and is in desperate need to go fullscreen because of the amount of room the "Bars" take up in landscape orientation.

It would be nice to have a switch for "correct" panning as apposed to the horrid google method.

Regards, Smooth [8D]

Mouse drag panning in google is backward/opposite to say "Tourweaver or Panoweaver" we need the option to switch between the two methods. Pano2VR offer this method. If you are unfamiliar with this I can post a link.

There is a misconception that this is (HTML5) as this is some sort of standard - It is NOT.

It is "Web Kit" support for Apple Safari browser (both full browser and mobile). It is a bad habit the industry has picked up by calling this HTML5. Much in the same way call it Nodal Point when what they are really referring to is the Entrance Pupil.

Anyway, don't expect "these" to work in anything other than Safari.

There will also be a call for browser sniffing for cube face size and/or file type delivery.

When somebody enters you website regardless of their browser style or computer/viewer choice the "code" needs to deliver the correct format.

In reality we only want to publish "once" to one single directory. As it stands we need to offer Flash for all "normal" browsers. Cube faces of different sizes for each of the iDevices. There is not one size fits all and these iDevices do not handle memory well (nor do they have much). You can bet your life "people" will want to know why their 200 scene tours don't work properly. iPod, 3G, 3Gs, 4 and then iPad all require differing cube face sizes to meet screen size and memory limits.

Murky ground.... and will only ever cater to a small percentage.

You can test the function with Safari browser at www.omnipix.net/safari

Use the button on the far right (last) to change the control mode.

The panorama starts with the "google" drag method which is backwards to Tourweaver/Panoweaver and all other "normal" panorama viewers. A click or tap (with mobile iDevice) will switch it to what we expect.

I guess offering both is a good idea, but please give us the option to select which to start with and a button for users to swap at will.

This panorama offers 4 different cube face sizes based on screen resolution. 640px for screen res up to 800, 800px for screen res up to 1000, 1024px for screen res up to 1280 and 1856 for all fullscreen computer monitors resolution above this.

Regards, Smooth [8D]
