Hi all!

I'm trying Panoweaver 7.20 Trial and I'm coming from Panoweaver 5.

Panoweaver 5 allows to stitch a Fisheye Drum panorama with 4+T images.

With Panoweaver 7.20 I see that when stitching 4+T images i get a "star of shadows"on the top of the sphere, so I undestand that the TOP image is not stitched with the other 4 potrait images...

I see the same "star" by loading and stitching the "Drum" example that is coming with Panoweaver 7.20 Trial.

It seems strange, because Panoweaver 7.2 stitchs the Drum example perfectly on the BOTTOM image (the bottom of the sphereis perfectly clean and sharp), but theTOP image seems absent.

Someone has some information about this issue?

Thanks to all!
Walter.

Hi Walter,

Welcome to the forum. There is indeed such problem with 7.2 and thank you for reporting this. We will fix it as soon as possible.

Currently you can do the following to avoid this problem, before stitching:

After the radius is reduced, press stitch and the panorama will be perfect.

Hallo Mr. Zhao,
many thanks for your reply.

I tried to stitch the images using your method, but the ceiling of the images appear to be acceptable for outdoor photos, but not so much for the photos inside a home or office. I will wait for the patch that fixes this problem before buying the upgrade to Panoweaver 7.

Best Regards,
Walter.
