The panoweaver 8 published files do not work on android phone either (galaxy S2). The version 7 files work fine on both phone and tablet. I can get the version 8 files to work in the desktop version of Chrome.

Are you talking Flash or HTML5 or both?

How large are the scene images that won't load on your android devices?

There all flash - I published a 640x480 panorama - total file size when published (edit wrong size) 2.63 mb. I have uploaded it to this link: http://www.keystage.com/presents/pano8test1/pano8test1.html

I have uploaded this for Joe at Easypano has test so therefore there is not any progress bar or control panel. He has ran version 8 flash files on android 2.3 OK but I have only sent samples this morning (GMT) so therefore will hopefully get a rsponse later. All I get is a blank white screen - the URL is correct , no connection errors and the same panorama seems to work in other browsers including desktop google chrome. It is very strange that the exact same content published in version 7 works fine on both my tablet and phone. This is quite important to me because I regularly use my tablet for presentations.

I can confirm that Flash tours made with either PW8 or TW7 fail on Android devices.

I have tested tours I have created with PW8 and TW7 on my Samsung Galaxy SII and both show a white screen.

Possibly this is a difference between PW7 and TW6.5 Flash 9 output and PW8 and TW7 Flash 11 output?

Whatever the case PW7 and TW6.5 files work and PW8 and TW7 don't!

Adobe have just uploaded a new flash mobile version (11.1) but this does not make any difference - Its strange I can get panoweaver 7 standard files to work on my Galaxy S2 (android 2.35). I will try a test with panoweaver 7 pro to see if that fails. Joe at easypano suggests there just slow to load and takes a while - but I found that they did not load at all but veryquickly in version 7 tours.

The panoweaver 7 Pro files also work on my S2. This is frustrating because I use my tablet a lot for presentations - I will have to stick to version 7 for now.

The new android flash version was only uploaded this morning (GMT) The changelog mainly refers to android 4 compatibility. I have already tested on my ICS tablet and it does not make any difference either - it still does not work.

No, you are right. The issue is on Easypano's side.

I have tested with multiple browsers, multiple Flash versions and PW8 and TW7 files fail to load on Andrroid. It is not a time load related issue.

I do not know what this means (I am more web graphics than code) but if you replace the version 8 flash player with the version 7 player (PWViewer,.swf) within the published folder the panorama does eventually run albeit very slowly with no control. The two viewers are slightly different in size but both report to be flash player 10. Again I do not have enough expertise or experience to analyse this correctly.

Latest version or Panoweaver 8 (23rd Feb 2012) does still not work on either my Samsung S2 (android 2.35) or my aconia A100 (honeycomb) - cannot test on ICS tab has recent firmware update bricked it and it is now in the Chec Republic being repaired !
