hi guys, anyone know/remeber where I can find a tutorial or help on placeing animated gifs in a pano.

Using PTViewer.jar, I think you can use an animated gif in the splash page.  I will look through my ptviewer.jar documentation to see if I can find more usage.

After looking..  maybe hotspot graphics can be small animated gifs.  I think the applet code call is the same.  Sort of like a flashing 'start' or point graphic.

Well I was thinking of something like a room with an animation running on TV in  a loop. I've seen some animated gif work before... I know I can do a splash page... but I wanted one in a pano it'self

Treat the TV as a hotspot ?  On mouse over it plays

The code was put together by someone at Immervision, I really wouldn't have a clue as to how to implement it myself. The film that is incorporated into my spherical pano is a 160x120 mpg.

If you're interested in how to put a film into a pano, you can go to the Immervision site and find out about how to do it yourself.
