Hi and thanks to all for your replys. I am about to purchase the nikon coolpix 8800. I want to make sure that all nikon acessories will fit and that this camera is not too new for older acessories that would work for the nikon 4300. Might be a silly question but it's alot money to spend if I couldn't get the right acessories.

The Coolpix 8800 is a fine camera it use the FC-E9 Fisheye Lens and UR-18 lens adaptor. You will need a good purpose built panorama head like the MrotatorB from www.agnos.com the matching support bracket is going to production shortly email agnos@agnos.com to check availability.

Keep in mind that the Nikon fisheye lenses will work with other digital cameras too if you use the proper rings. I have seen a couple of pages on the web where people use it with Konica-Minolta cameras, Olympus 8080 (which IMO is a better camera), Ricoh Caplio GX, etc.
